2012 Mission Trip

Praise God so much.

LAST YEAR WE HOSTED THREE WOMEN OF GOD FROM AMERICA IN AFRICA UGANDA (PR. GLORIA, RENE AND MARY). GOD USED THEM GREATLY AND THEY LEFT A TREMENDOUS CHANGE IN AFRICA. Physical, social, spiritual, and health issues of most Africans who were disadvantaged were met. This trip majorly focused on people who live in slums, swampy areas, and remote areas. We managed to do crusades, conferences (i.e., spiritual and health teachings), and medical clinics in which we carried out free medical and dental treatment. Most issues were addressed, multitudes were treated, others gave their lives to Christ, and many received glasses and other charity supplies.

It was through this trip that God opened doors for what we have already done and we believe to do a lot in making a difference in Africa. Most people in these areas cannot afford the cost of living, even the cost of health care, and some are still in bondages and ignorance. We witnessed the move of God through preaching and practical sharing of the love of Christ through these women. This is what Africa needs!

Today I want to share with us about other great news of the upcoming event. God has opened a door again and we expect them again in September, this year.  We are excited of what is going to happen. It will be another great time of making a difference and lifting Christ higher. This time they will come for three weeks ministering the love of Christ to us.

We thank God and everyone whom God has used to contribute any way towards this great trip. God richly bless you.

This year we believe God and we are very expectant to deliver a lot. When I was talking to one of them she told me that she is ready to be used by the Lord and they are going to deliver more than ever before.

MISSION TRIP ACTIVITIES:

WORKING WITH DOCTORS FROM WBAMM (WORLD BORN AGAIN MEDICAL MINISTRIES) TO CARRY OUT BIG MEDICAL CLINIC WITH FREE MEDICAL AND DENTAL TREATMENT AND OPTICAL CARE.

We expect a big number of doctors to work with us this time as many people to come with different infections, diseases, stress, bondage, many family problems, and lack of food due to poverty etc.

Other days we will be doing preaching in conferences, churches, and holding crusades in different places.

WE AGAIN WANT TO EXTEND OUR VOTE OF THANKS TO EVERY ONE WHO IS SUPPORTING THIS WORK IN PRAYER, FINANCIALLY, AND WITH MEDICAL AND DENTAL SUPPLIES TO HELP THE NEEDY. GOD BLESS YOU.

Hebrews 6:10 “For God is not unfair. He will not forget how hard you have worked for Him, and how you have shown your love to Him, by caring for other Christians as you will still do.”

WE WILL KEEP YOU POSITED UNTIL IT’S DONE IN JESUS NAME.

Delivered from Flood Waters

We are a family of four people now father, mother our two children a boy and a girl. we have been in our marriage for four years now. We got married in 2008 but our three first years in our marriage were not very easy at all. We lived in a place called Bwaise that place is known has a flood place when ever it rains and that is why here they say that (water is life when you do not stay in Bwaise) our house could flood when i can not even stand in it. my husband was the one to carry me out to church. we could spend some days in the church or some time i go to my mother's place, my husband to pastor's place. some time water could enter when we are praying that God please do not allow this water to enter but it enters. i could raise up my hands and say that even if this water entered you still the LORD of Lords. we did not lose our faith in Jesus. In the month of August 2011 it rained so much that I thought we were even going to lose our lives that I claimed to the bed. My husband was not there. he had gone to look for sapper cos we spend the all day with out food. Water started entering like following in a big river our bed was high cos we used to use a bench to claim on the bed but water was too much it claimed the bed. we were using a candle. it follow in water. i started crying for help no one could hear me. i put the baby on my back i touched the boy on the hand and told him to pray if this is our time to die Jesus will be with us. when i was still shouting my husband came also shouting are you still there. I said yes. my heart came at peace. he told me let us try to see if we can sleep we tried but as we were preparing our selves the bed started shaking, the half part of the baby was in water when my husband goes down the bed could throw us into the water cos for me i could not manage to stand in it. We cried for help again. there was a neighbor of ours who helped to carry the children and my husband put me on his shoulders and took me to church. We spent three days in the church waiting for water to come down but it was much. On the fourth day i went to mother's place but i prayed and cried to God to help us some people were telling us to go to village but for us we did not want to go there.

WHAT GOD HAS DONE FOR US THE PAST TEN MONTHS:

In those days we had visitors who were coming to our church but on the day when they where going to come for them at the air port i was cleaning some of the dirty clothes and my husband said i was praying yesterday in the church and God told me that he is going to make us laugh again. The day came on Sunday the visitors came in we were very happy to have visitors when the service was finished we started to greet our visitors but for me i used to fear them but i did not know my husband took the two visitors to our home the place was very very dirty with the floods but when they came back from our home one of them felt sorry to us she loved us she told us that you are now my children you are part of my family. She has helped us get a different place to live and food. She left us with her email we send messages-and she always replies she taught us to do our monthly budget and we do it and helps us when we are sick and got us sponsors. They took my husband to school and he finished his mechanical training. They bought for him his own toolbox. When he finished mechanics training to get a job they wanted him to be knowing reading and speaking English. he is now in school learning English speaking and writing plus people used to say that our children wont go to school but our boy is now in school and we are living a happy life. OUR MUM IS IN USA. God sent her here to show us love. we have learnt from her how to love and to show love. And we are so thankful to every one who has obeyed God's time in our life.

WE GIVE ALL THE GLORY AND HONOR TO OUR DEAR LORD JESUS CHRIST WHO NEW THAT SUCH DAYS WILL HAPPEN TO US. WE WILL ALWAYS WORSHIP HIM AND PRAISE HIM. WE WILL ALWAYS LOVE JESUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Testimony: Life Again

Shared story about 12 year old girl on "Mission Medical Clinic" blog July 21, 2012 but wanted to update every one on this VERY IMPORTANT outcome.

God can change the situation you are passing through; God can use any one who is ready to be used by Him. You can do something to bring a change in the world.

This is another testimony which everyone should hear of; it’s so encouraging and so touching.
Last time we were sharing of what God has been doing when we go out in the community to share the love of Christ and meeting the needs of the disadvantaged. We do free medical treatment, and many other charity activities. We shared about a young girl of 12 years named DENAVENSI, who presented with a perforated incision site with part of intestines out and also using a polythen bag as a waste collecting bag which was coming out of the stomach.  On history taking, we found out that she had an intestinal obstruction some time back and she was operated in the nearby hospital and the wound didn’t close properly. Last month she got an accident when she was being taken by the father to the herbalist to get some herbal medicine.  The father died on spot and was buried.

We found out that this was an emergency. She needed an operation but it was hard for her to be taken to the hospital since their land was sold when she had the first operation and this time they had not even transport to the hospital. We were touched but we didn’t have an immediate solution.  It was a big need that needed immediate help and financial support of 400 US dollars.
God used a family to bring life to this girl. God used them and He provided the money that was needed for us to help this girl be taken to the hospital and get an emergency surgery and also cater for treatment, also hospital costs. God protected her; she underwent surgery and came out of theater well, and was admitted for almost two weeks.

YOU can check down the photos of how she presented and how she was in the hospital and also after the operation.
These are the words of the surgeon of Hoima Hospital  “The young girl we worked on last Thursday that had an ileostomy that was repaired. She is rather doing well and now started passing stool which is a good sign of healing. The pictures are of how she presented with a polythene bag, part of intestine that was out, our operating team and after operation.” (Dr Bitamazire Denis)

These are words of the grandmother who takes care of her:  “GOD is there, I thought my granddaughter was going to die and I had lost hope in her, am happy and my joy and hope is restored, I thank everyone who stood for my daughter to come to life again. Now I know that God loves me so much and I must serve him more and more.”

When I called the pastor in kyibale told me that the whole village was excited about how Christians can care and show love even to people they don’t know. This gives a good ground for the gospel to be preached.
Finally I want to thank everyone who stood in the gap: those who prayed, thosed who helped in the medical mission, DR.GRACE, DR.DENIS, MISS. MARY AND MORE TO THOSE WHO PAID FOR THE SURGERY, and for your support towards the health of this girl.
JESUS raised Lazarus from the dead and today there are many ways one can BRING LIFE BACK FROM DEATH.
YOUR CAN SPONSOR AN AFRICAN CHILD, YOU CAN SUPORT IN ANY OTHER ACTIVITY.
BE PART OF WHAT IS DOING IN AFRICA.
TOGETHER LETS BRING A DIFFERENCE IN AFRICA.
Dr.Gilbert, Africa. For the love of Africa my home land. Am proud that God is remembering us.
